A Brief History
After inventing the world's first electric grinding machine for jewellery in 1895, Daniel Swarovski established the Swarovski Company in Tyrol Austria. Since that time, the company has been synonymous with precision grinding and original enterprise combining fantastic optics with innovative design, which has led to the fine range of products we see today. The basis of the company has always been fine engineering and in 1935 Wilhelm Swarovski had a dream to produce binoculars that would allow him to search the stars and went about designing a prism manufacture and finishing technologies, to come up with the famous Habitat range of binoculars, which are still used as a benchmark today for fine optics and build quality. The company went on to produce rifle scopes and the world’s first wrap-around grip.
Swarovski’s state of the art factory and educational centre in Absam has been built with sustainability in mind and a strong sense of responsibility to the environment. The staff are treat with respect and courtesy, many of them staying in the employ of Swarovski their entire working life.
Swarovski and Harrison Cameras
We like Swarovski optics, they really are the business. Ergonomically designed and comfortable to use, they are the ideal companion for a walk in the countryside, a trip on Safari, or a sailing trip around the Azures. They absolutely ooze class and style, are really easy to use and will enable the user to spot wildlife in the distance even in terrible weather conditions, where the light is poor and the rain is lashing down.
We have regular contact with the sales executive and are updated on a regular basis via e-mail and flyers, to ensure that all the staff are smack bang up to date for all the products and any new items that have been launched.
