Medium Format Lenses

12 Month Warranty  -  14 Day Returns  -  Free Delivery Over £50

Explore our huge range of Medium Format Lenses at Harrison Cameras. Medium format lenses offer outstanding image quality as well as being fast, silent and highly accurate. These lenses capture images that are slightly smaller than the large format film size, but are much bigger than those taken using full-frame sensors or 135 film. Medium format systems can deliver a shallower depth of field compared to smaller DSLRs thanks to the larger sensor size. This can be a huge advantage, especially in portrait mode. Benefit from advanced features like compact zoom, silent autofocus, weather resistance and more. Whatever type of photography you like - from street photography to nature photography and more - you’re sure to find a lens that suits you.

A lens is one of the most important features of a camera, so choosing the right one can lead to a huge improvement in your photos. Our Medium Format Lenses are made to the highest standards, and are sure to help you create images you’ll be proud to share.

Medium format lenses are specifically designed for medium format camera bodies and as such, allow lots of light through to the large sensor inside. Medium format lenses are usually prime, meaning they do not zoom, which is slightly different from DSLR or Mirrorless lenses. Most medium format photographers tend to like the prime lenses, as they are usually much brighter than the zoom versions. Some Medium format lenses can fit onto DSLR cameras with an adapter and are fantastic for landscape format photography and portrait photography. However they can also be used in a studio setting for creating outstanding high quality images.
