Description
A natural style of frame that is defined by its depth, the box frame effect is created by allowing the picture to sit at the back, thereby leaving approximately 3/4 of an inch of the frame in front of it, which pulls the eye towards the photo. Although the surround is wide enough for the frame to stand upright on it, there is a strong strut at the back which tilts the frame backwards to show the image more clearly. The strut is held to the back of the frame with a piece of black ribbon, which proofs it against collapsing in a heap when it is 10 years old! The light beech effect finish gives the frame a light airy feel and the image is fixed into the Zurigo by four metal sprung clips. The frame can also be hung on a wall by using the metal folded hook on the back, which can be moved to display the photo in landscape or portrait mode.
