The Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM Lens is ideal for landscape photography, with its Gaussian optics and two highly reflective lens elements really provide the user with clean, crisp results. The ultrasonic motor drives means the lenses auto focus speed is quick and works in near silence, full manual override is available making it possible to adjust the focus without leaving auto focus mode.
The Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM Lens has Canon's Super Spectra Coating which offers accurate colour balance and reduces flare and ghosting, which can be a problem with digital photogrpahy, as the light can bounce off the camera's sensor. The almost circular aperture on the Canon EF 50mm f1.4 USM Lens means that the depth of field facility on the lens, works incredibly well, enabling the photographer to get attractive blurring on the background, thereby enabling the subject to be pin sharp.
