The Sony 35mm 1.8 OSS E Mount Lens is a 52.5mm lens with 35mm equivalent focal length on APS-C E-mount cameras. The bright f1.8 aperture makes this lens perfect for shooting in lowlight as well as capturing impressive snapshots, portraits and more. Its compact and lightweight design, weighing only 154g and just 45mm long, makes it the ideal lens for when you’re out and about. Featuring a built-in stabilisation element and high-quality optical design, which makes working handheld in low light easy with images free of aberrations.

Faster Autofocus System and DMF 

Benefit from a faster autofocus response thanks to the internal focussing mechanism. Autofocus is smooth, precise and quiet which is an advantage for shooting video as focus noise is not picked up in the soundtrack. The added DMF (Direct Manual Focus) feature allows you to override autofocus to take control over focus.  

Built-in Image Stabilisation  

Featuring the Optical SteadyShot image stabilisation technology built within the lens to ensure handheld shooting is stable enough to produce sharp images. Paired with the maximum F1.8 aperture, handheld shooting is enhanced in low light conditions.  

High-quality Optical Design  

Sony have incorporated two aspherical lenses and one ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lens elements that are strategically placed for optimum performance. The aspherical lenses work to reduce the effects of astigmatism, field curvature, coma and other aberrations. The ED lens element helps reduce chromatic aberrations and colour fringing.
