The SIGMA 24mm lens has a minimum focus distance of just 10.8cm and maximum reproduction ratio of 1:2, giving photographers more creative freedom in capturing different details and perspectives. SIGMA's Optics

Sigma have incorporated 10 elements in 8 groups, including 1 SLD (Special Low Dispersion) and 3 aspherical lenses. The lens elements are strategically arranged to reduce optical aberrations and ensure optimum image quality across the frame.

Combatting Ghosting and Flare

A Super Multi-Layer Coating has been applied to the lenses to reduce ghosting and flare when working with bright light/backlit situations. The included petal type lens hood also contributes towards blocking out unwanted light so images are not compromised.

Fast Auto Focus

The SIGMA 24mm lens features a stepping motor for a fast, smooth and near-silent Auto Focus, as well as supporting Face/Eye Detection AF and video AF. Enjoy fluent focusing and enhanced audio when recording videos.

Intuitive Control

The addition of the Focus Mode Switch allows you to seamlessly and instantaneously switch between Manual and Auto Focus. The aperture ring also allows for intuitive use by allowing photographers to change apertures on the lens, or when set to Auto, in-camera if preferred. The L-Mount version of the SIGMA 24mm lens supports switching between linear focus/non-linear focus ring settings – for your preferred focus movement method.

Durabiliy

As part of SIGMAs contemporary line, this lens is compact, portable and durable. Rubber sealing has been placed on the lens mount to protect it from dust and water drops – ensuring you can shoot outdoors confidently.
