The Saramonic SmartMic5 Di is a unidirectional micro-shotgun microphone with a MFi Certified Lightning output that captures crystal clear, directional, broadcast-quality sound. It plugs directly into the Lightning port of iPhones and iPads making it easy to add a compact yet high-quality directional microphone and drastically improve the sound over the device’s included microphone.
An ideal micro-shotgun mic for vlogging, posting updates on Instagram or TikTok, live streaming, making YouTube content and for any content creator on the move. It features plug-and-play operation, allowing you to just plug it in to your device and start recording. It includes both a foam and a furry windscreen, making it easy to get great sound indoors or outdoors.
Focused Sound and Extra Reach in a Micro Form-Factor
The SmartMic5 Di features a 2.36 x 0.43” (6 x 1.1cm) interference tube and a unidirectional polar-pattern. Designed to focus on the sound in front of the microphone, while attenuating sounds from the sides and rear. Letting your video viewers and social media followers focus on your message and not the background noise. Because of its longer interference tube, it also allows you to move farther away from the microphone and still get a detailed and full-frequency sound.
