VHD+ Optics 

The VHD+ optical system features a high-quality ED glass objective system and phase corrected prisms to produce a crystal-clear view with vivid colour. The ED (extra-low dispersion) glass to significantly reduce chromatic aberration and colour fringing. Paired with an Oasis prism coating and S-H type multi-coating to all air and glass surfaces, the Opticron DBA VHD+ 10x42 Binoculars offer a bright and sharp light transmission for a continuous clear view.  

The Opticron DBA VHD+ 10x42 Binoculars have a close focusing distance of 2.5m, so you can view subjects from a comfortable distance without sacrificing detail.  

Ergonomic Design   

With comfort in mind, the Opticron DBA VHD+ 10x42 Binoculars feature three stage twist-up eyecups and 0.7-inch eye relief, offering both glasses and non-glasses wearers a strain-free observation experience. A dioptre adjustment is featured on the right for efficient and convenient operation.  

The Opticron DBA VHD+ 10x42 Binoculars adopt a two hinge, single axis design for a well-balanced and controlled hold when in the field. As well as featuring a lightweight roof prism design for its class, weighing only 714g, ensuring each observation is effortless without fatigue.  

Additionally, the Opticron DBA VHD+ 10x42 Binoculars feature a tripod adapter socket for the option of attaching a tripod for further comfort during longer observations.

Made from aluminium alloy and polycarbonate the 10x42 model features a durable and lightweight construction, as well as a textured rubber armouring for a confident grip in extreme conditions. The Opticron DBA VHD+ 10x42 Binoculars are nitrogen gas filled and watertight (5m/16ft depth) for protection against moisture and fogging for an unobstructed, crystal-clear view. Included in the box are a pair of objective lens covers, so you can keep your optics protected when you’re on the go or when not in use.
