Description
Although you may think that a lens hood is an additional expense you can do without, it has a double function once of which you can't do without, unless you have pots of money. It will reduce lens flare which helps in bright conditions or if you want to be creative and break the sun rules and it will help protect the front element of the lens, if the lens gets knocked or dropped. You have to admit, that its cheaper to replace a lens hood than a lens.
