Go low. Get high. Go wide. The Z 30’s 3-inch vari-angle touchscreen monitor, uncluttered displays, and well-thought-out controls let you catch any kind of shot with ease. If you’re recording vlogs and snapping photos, the camera lets you save separate settings for video and stills, then switch between them as needed. No need to stop and re-configure your settings each time.
No reason to stop
You can record up to 125 minutes of uninterrupted video footage⁵, giving you plenty of space for long takes or continuous shooting. Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, plus Nikon’s SnapBridge app, let you upload content from anywhere.
Crisp, clear sound
Capture great-sounding audio via the sensitive built-in stereo mic—or an external mic. The audio menu gives options for recording your voice, or ambient sound like music and city streets. There’s a wind-noise reduction function, too.
Wire up and go live
With one universal USB Type C cable (included), you can provide constant power to the Z 30: livestream vlogs and charge your camera’s battery at the same time! To stream the sharpest, best-looking footage, simply attach a NIKKOR Z lens and connect the Z 30 to a computer with the free Nikon Webcam Utility installed.
Comfortable and steady
Pick up the Z 30 and your hand just—fits. A feat of engineering on such a small camera, the deep grip allows stable handheld shooting, even at arm’s length. Plus, Nikon’s e-VR helps keep video footage looking nice and steady.
Made to vlog handheld
If you turn the vari-angle monitor to face forwards, the camera instantly activates self-portrait mode and clears the screen for an unobstructed view. You can use the conveniently positioned record button to take snapshots or shoot video.
