This is a fantastic idea for baby's first year, as it records each month from baby's first day to the first birthday milestone. Each aperture is approximately 1.5 inches and is a slight oval, with the central aperture being approximately 4.5x3.5 inches for a bigger portrait. Each corner of the frame has a baby related group of items pressed into the metal and the silver plating on these corners is shiny as opposed to the matt background of the frame. The shiny motif is also carried on to the aperture surround and each of the smaller apertures. The glass front of each aperture protects the photos inside and each month is written underneath each aperture in a strong black font. The words 'My First Year' is written in bold at the top of the frame and as it has both the ability to stand and hang, it is really versatile and perfect as a gift. The photographs are easily positioned in the frame from the back, by using the internal template which ensures that all the photographs are the correct size and positioned perfectly for the frame front. The strong, velvet backboard is then repositioned and fastened in place using the four plastic retainers and there is a strong strut on which the frame can stand. The metal hook on the backboard allows the frame to hang on the wall and at just over 11x9 inches overall it makes the perfect keepsake.
