Shooting Capabilities  

The Irix 45mm lens features a dedicated stepless aperture ring that ensures a smooth and quiet operation. The f1.4 9-blade rounded aperture gives the user opportunity to shoot in low light conditions, as well as create a beautifully circular bokeh. With a minimum focusing distance of 0.4m, get closer to the subject to capture incredible detail.  

This lens is compatible with both classic screw-in filters (77mm) and square filters – beneficial for greater creativity over landscape shots.  

Efficient Focus Handling 

For better focus handling, Irix have incorporate focusing features that enable high sharpening precision; A Focus Lock that allows the user to lock the focus ring into position, which is beneficial for both zone-focusing and keeping precise focus on infinity when capturing landscapes; A Focus Ring that features a ring material that enhances mechanical strength and resistance in more challenging conditions. The special texturing and embossed dimples allow for reliable focusing and the ability to feel the ring’s position without looking.
