Designed to experience the outdoors, the Hawke 8x42 binoculars have adopted a rubber coated magnesium alloy chassis making these binoculars rugged but lightweight. The rubber coating ensures a firm grip when handling the binoculars, even when wearing gloves. These Frontier ED X binoculars are waterproof and nitrogen purged to ensure consistent operation in more adverse weather conditions. As well as featuring water-repellent lenses and being fog proof so the view remains unobstructed even in the rain.  

With comfort in mind, the Hawke Frontier ED X 8x42 binoculars have been ergonomically designed for easy use. Featuring a focus knob that has been specifically placed for simple use, taking only 1.5 turns of the focusing wheel. The twist-up eyecups are beneficial for twisting up when not wearing glasses or locked down for those that wear glasses. As well as right eye dioptre correction that is easy to fix and stays locked in position.
