The seven frames have a wood grain effect finish in a pale brown and a high quality internal card mount in white, which contrasts really well with the edge. The frame set makes a real impact as each frame measures approximately one inch deep and the picture sits slightly back from the front edge of the frame, which emphasises the surround really well. The clean, sharp edeges have been professionally finished and the smaller frames will stand as well as hang, making them extremely versitile and useful for using seperately from the set. All the frames will hang either vertically or horizontally, which gives loads of scope for chnage and the set is also available in a five piece. There is a high quality piece of glass on the front of the frames, protects the photos inside and the photographs are slipped into the back by pending the metal retainers back and removing the strong back board. The 7x5 frame measures approximately 7.5x8.5", the 6x4, 6.5x8.5" and the 12x8" approximately 16x12" and the whole kit, is a really cost effective way of displaying special photos.
