Description
The Fuji 60mm macro f2.4 Macro R Fujinon XF Lens is an impressive medium telephoto lens with a minimum working distance of 26.7cm that has incredible macro capabilities. The lens delivers a wide range of shots including portraits and 0.5X magnification macros. The bright f2.4 maximum aperture helps achieve the desired milky bokeh effect and high-definition details. The XF models are constructed out of metal with a metal lens mount to ensure it is durable when travelling.
Tackling Optical Defects
Fujifilm has used a glass moulded aspherical lens at the 7th element to prevent field curvature as well as an ED (extra-low dispersion) glass lens at the 6th element to control various aberrations e.g., chromatic aberration. The Fuji 60mm macro lens is also polished to perfection and treated with Super EBC (Electron Beam Coating) to eliminate flare.
Expertly Designed
Expertly designed the moulded aperture diaphragm blades, on the fuji 60mm macro to be curved to create a circular image at all aperture settings. The edges of the blades have been rounded off rather than cut off to encourage sharper images. To maximise the mirrorless design of the body, the X-mount also includes a short flange back distance of just 17.7mm giving high resolution right across the image.
