These pretty frames have gorgeous roses around the edge and then tiny beads around the actual aperture, which is intricately groved to give an antique feel. Finished in a matt off white paint, the roses have parts of the frame showing through and are chipped in places to give an old look which contrasts really well with the white. Each flower is individually attached to the edge of the frame, some being smaller than others and they overlap at the outer edge, extending the width of the frame edge to approximately an inch and a half.
It can stand either horizontally or vertically depending on whether your print is in landscape or portrait mode and the glass front protects the valuable image inside. The strut is held to the back of the frame with a pretty cream ribbon, so that over time, it doesn't collapse and lay flat.
