The Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG HSM Lens for Sony E Mount is a fast F1.4 aperture standard lens for digital cameras. Sigma has incorportaed it's Special Low Dispersion glass into the Sigma 30mm f1.4 EX DC HSM Lens as well as Extraordinary Low Dispersion glass elements which are used to keep the best possible correction for magnification and chromatic aberrations, which are usual problems for digital cameras.
The 30cm (11.8inch) minimum focusing distance of the Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG HSM Lens for Canon makes it a very versitile lens offering crisp image qaulity and edge to edge sharpness. The Hyper Sonic Motor give quiets, high-speed auto-focus shooting, as well as full-time manual focus override and the large maximum aperture of F1.4 can perform superbly in a great range of applications, including snapshots, portraiture, indoor shooting and also landscape photography. The narrow depth of field capabilities of the lens give added creativity and can produce powerful imges, by throwing the background out of focus, yet leaving the subject pin sharp. The Sigma 35mm f1.4 DG HSM Lens has a brass bayonnet mount instead of the ususal plastic mounts, which makes it very strong and durable and gives added longevity and peace of mind.
