Dorr Macro Filter Kit | Close Up +1, +2 & +4

Description

The Dorr Macro Filter Kit includes the 1+, 2+ and 4+ dioptre close up filters and is an inexpensive way to experience macro photography. The close-up filter is screwed into the front filter thread of the camera lens and allows the lens to focus much closer on the subject and make it larger than the lens would normally reproduce. They are great for nature shots particularly for insects and flowers photography. The larger the dioptre of the close up filter, the more effective the end result, but remember that the focusing will be tricker with the filter attached; most photographers will default to manual focus mode. The maximum reproduction achievable with a standard 50mm focal length is approximately 1:2.5, so not quite life size, but pretty close. An imitation leather protective case is included to keep the filters together and in top condition.
