Description

These are a great pair of binoculars with the additional advantage of a zoom option. Simply focus the optics using the ergonomic rubberised focusing wheel and then push the right hand lever up and down to zoom out and in. Its as easy as that and the lever can be positioned anywhere between the closest and furthest zoom, so if the subject moves nearer or further away, its easy to follow.

Measuring approximately 17.5 x 20cm when opened up fully, they are a standard style of binocular, which is comfortable to hold and easy to use.

The eypieces have twist up rubber protectors, which are for use when wearing spectacles and a plus/minus dioptre, so that the optics can be fine-tuned to the users exact eyesight. Setting the dioptre up, couldn't be easier, simply focus the binoculars to a subject in the mid distance and then shut one eye, so that you can adjust the dioptre perfectly. Once the dioptre is set, there is no need to change it, unless someone else is using the binoculars. Boasting high quality optics, the price tag reflects the high quality of these binoculars, which is unusual for a set of zoom binoculars, as it is notoriously difficult to get a clear zoom option on binoculars.

The multi-coated optics mean that the light gathering power of the Danubia High Performance Zoom Binoculars is improved and the black rubber armouring, protects the body of the binoculars from knocks and scratches. The binoculars have a 1/4 inch tripod bush so that they can be attached to a binocular clamp or a tripod head, which is really useful when using them for long periods.

It is always useful to use a tripod for the binoculars if using them at the maximum zoom range, as it will keep them still and stop any uncomfortable viewing through shake. The internal lugs on the body, take the nylon neck strap (included) and the binoculars come with a high quality carrying bag and lens cloth.
