The Bussard 10x42 binoculars are great to handle even when wearing gloves. as the green ABS rubber armoured body has been ergonomically designed for ease of use, especially if wearing gloves and the twist up eyecups ensure that users with glasses can still use the binoculars without taking them off. The large dioptre adjustment that is available on the right hand eyepiece, helps to customise the optics to a specific eyesight correction, which ones set up, simply stays in place for future use. The high quality BAK-4 prism with multi coated optics provide bright, sharp images at all times of the day and are rugged enough to use outdoors even in the worse weather conditions. The quick central focussing wheel makes it easy to follow focus, and is positioned in such a way as to be loctaed quickly an easily, for fast focusing. Due to the binoculars having a 10x magnification, the 1/4" tripod bush for mounting on to a tripod, helps the user to keep them still and allows for long term use.

The green Bussard 10x42mm Binoculars are gas filled to ensure fog-free viewing and have been pressure tested to 1 meters under water which is reassuring when using them in a torrential downpour.
