Superb Image Quality 

Canon have incorporated a single Super UD (Ultra-low Dispersion) glass and two fluorite glass elements to ensure images are consistently sharp with high-contrast. The single Super UD element can do the job of two UD lenses and ensures that chromatic aberrations and colour fringing are significantly reduced. Fluorite glass increases image resolution and contrast for overall clarity.  

ASC (Air Sphere Coating) has been applied to the lenses to ensure ghosting and flare is decreased when working in bright light conditions.

Capturing fast action has never been easier. The dual power focus drive offers a faster autofocus so you can use your initiative with confidence. Change between three manual focus speeds so you have rapid control over focus and with full-time manual focus you can quickly adjust for more precision. The addition of autofocus start-stop button are also intuitive to find.  

When shooting video, you can store two focus presets for quick recall – saving you time when you need to react fast.
