Description
The Heliopan 72mm SH-PMC UV Filter is a slim filter which is perfect for using either at the seaside, or in the mountains, as it reduces the annoying effect of UV rays. It will also protect expensive lens optics from accidental damage. The slimness of the mount ensures no vignetting as the 5mm rim sits onto the end of the lens leaving a mere 4mm protrusion.
The Ultra Violet Filter can stay on the lens to protect it as well as helping to filter out UV light, which causes problems on photograph clarity. Hazy conditions either in the mountains, or by the sea reduce image sharpness and the Ultra Violet rays cause blue tones, which are detrimental to the colour rendition.
