Leica Binoculars

Leica binoculars are one of the best binoculars on the market. Meticulously constructed, Leica Binoculars have outstanding optics, that give brilliant images, accurate colour rendition and superb magnification. One of the top of the range brands, Leica optics have always been utterly amazing; they are not cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. The ultravid range has been developed with the keen amateur in mind and has Leica's unique AquaDura Coating so they can be used in all weathers and the Leica trinovid range incorporates smaller style binoculars that can be easily put in a pocket, as well as the larger, standard size binoculars, that are designed for use out in the field or in a hide. Leica binoculars UK have historically been investing in research and development for optics and build quality, so have plenty of experience in manufacturing top notch binoculars. Sometimes you just have to treat yourself.

If you are going on safari, or simply out walking the dog, a pair of Leica binoculars can greatly enhance the experience. Unfortuantely the general rule is, the larger the binoculars the better they are, although it really does depend on how well the optics have been manufactured. Light gathering power and magnification are the two main componants for a good pair of binoculars, but more magnification doesn't mean a better image. Always check the objective lens measurement (the lenses at the oppsotie end to the eyepieces) and if it is small, then the optics have to be extra special to cope with the lack of light. Thats where the Leica compact style of binocular come in to their own, as they maintain edge to edge quality as well as colour rendition, even though they are only 20mm or 25mm. The larger style binocualrs are really well balanced, making them comfortable to use and can be used with a harness, if going out for the day.
