Its recommended that these Alpina binoculars are used on a tripod head to provide comfortable, strainfree viewing, because any piece of optical equipment that maginfies to this strength, is generally too difficult to hold still for any length of time. 

Fitted with a large centre focus wheel, focusing is a doddle and extremely fast. The folding eyecups can be used with and without spectacles and because the eyepieces are rubber, they are very comfortable on the eye, even when wearing glasses. The solid rubber armouring around the body of the binoculars gives additional comfort when viewing through the optics, as well additional protection when carrying them out and about.
