There are many things to love about this camera, from its light weight, to high quality images, to weather sealing and customisable functionality. It feels right to hold and a joy to use. It is a well designed and well thought out product that has evolved considerably since the first OMD Em-5. It's so easy to carry around even with a couple of lenses. The Live ND filter is amazing at a flick of a switch when you need that landscape shot - a lot of fun to use. No more carrying around filters or tripod as image stabilisation is excellent even with kit lenses. The weather sealing is also unique at this price point and it's something that's great to have in our climate or when hiking in foggy weather etc.
Having upgraded from the EM-10 Mark II and III, the OM-5 20 MP does make a difference but the sensor is also appears to add improvement in quality of image, producing wonderful JPeg's straight out of camera. The menu system takes some getting used to but if you're upgrading, then it's familiar. The Panorama scene mode is nice to have and unique especially since you can choose/switch to a vertical panorama setting, producing a better final image than a very wide shot pano that squashes everything. Other great scene modes are starlight and night scenes which removes the complexity of shooting, although manual mode is still available and Live Composite is awesome to watch as the scene develops. Black and white mode is also great so you can see what you are shooting and still have the colour Raw file saved. All in all, it's a superb camera that easily competes against much more expensive cameras. Very pleased with my choice and so glad the OM systems micro 4/3rds continues into the future (having been an Olympus fan for years).
