VILTROX EF-E II 0.71x Speed Booster is designed to be compatible with Canon EF-mount lenses to be used on Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras. The EF-E II booster is built with strengthened copper electronic contacts, bringing much more stable signal transmission, and offers compatibility with functions like Auto Focus; Electronic Aperture Control; EXIF Info. Transmitting; lens IS Stabilization Function; USB Firmware Upgrading,etc.
Compatibility:
- Supports PDAF/CDAF of Cameras: Sony A9/A7RIII/A7RII/A7III/A7II/A6500/A6300/A6400
- Supports CDAF of cameras: Sony A7R/A7SII/A7S/A7/NEX7/A6000/A5100
- Compatible with Canon EF Mount lenses
Note: Full-frame cameras need to be used in APS-C format
0.71x Focal Reducer Booster
With the built-in optical correction group,Focal length of lens is multiplied by 0.71 based on the original, makes the effective focal length smaller and the shooting range wider.
Equivalent focal length = focal length x 0.71 x APS-C conversion factor
Take 50mm lens as an example:
EF-E II: 50mm x 0.71 x 1.5 = 53mm
Ordinary Lens Adapter: 50mm x 1.5 = 75mm
Increases the aperture by 1 stop
EF-E II booster can increase one stop aperture of lens to blur the background and better highlight the theme.
