Superb Lens Configuration The Sony 200-600mm lens is made up of 17 groups and 24 elements, including one aspherical element [1] and five ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass elements [2]. The elements are strategically arranged to enable significant control over various optical aberrations, such as spherical aberration, chromatic aberration, and distortion. Images achieve edge-to-edge sharpness across the zoom range, along with superb resolution. Featuring Sony’s original Nano AR Coating, this lens minimises ghosting and flare when working with bright light sources, such as backlighting. Sharpness, high contrast and clarity is maintained across the frame in a variety of conditions.

Natural Bokeh The 11-blade circular aperture mechanism makes it possible to achieve natural, luscious background bokeh. Using a narrow depth of field, available at super-telephoto focal lengths, photographers can achieve creamy G lens bokeh and direct viewers to the clear, sharp subject.
