The Sigma 56mm F1.4 L-Mount Lens DC DN C is a member of the high-performance Contemporary line that retains the qualities of being compact, lightweight with impressive high-performance. Specifically made for APS-C mirrorless cameras, this is a small mid-tele lens that offers F1.4 brightness and 9-blade rounded diaphragm to provide beautiful bokeh and the ability to work in challenging light conditions. This lens captures a genre of photography, from portraits to snapshots, and even night view.
Expertly Constructed Optical Design
Featuring 10 elements in 6 groups, including one SLD (Special-low Dispersion) element and two aspherical elements. Collectively, the placement and technology of the lenses contribute towards eliminating optical aberrations and the overall sharpness of the image. As well as SIGMA’s Super Multi-Layer Coating to minimise the effects of flare and ghosting in backlit conditions, delivering high contrast images.
Fast AF Motor
With the combination of the optical design and SIGMA’s use of a stepping motor, the elements drive a faster, smoother and quieter autofocus – beneficial for achieving high-quality videos.
Durable Construction
The Sigma 56mm lens has been constructed to withstand various challenging conditions. Featuring a brass bayonet mount that contributes to the overall strength and durability of the lens. As well as special sealing around the mount that is resistant against dust and splashes – for safer portable use.
