Sony 28mm F2 FE Lens
The Sony 28mm F2 FE Lens is a great second lens to add to a photographer's basic lens kit. Offering a wide angle, 28mm focal length and bright F2.0 maximum aperture for incredible optical performance – whether shooting handheld indoors or low light landscapes. The inner focus mechanism enables stable and silent autofocus operation that is extremely beneficial for shooting movies with enhanced audio and clear stills.
Stable and Smooth Focusing
A linear actuator has been built into the lens to drive a smooth and near-silent focusing mechanism. The lens does not extend during focusing and ensures a quiet and stable operation when recording videos.
Sharpness Across the Frame
Featuring three aspherical (including one advanced aspherical element [1]) lens elements [2] and two ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lens element [3] to minimise aberrations and ensure optimum image quality right down to the closest focusing distance. Lenses are multi-coated to block flare and ghosting when shooting with bright light situations such as backlighting.
Superb Optics
With a maximum F2 aperture, photographers can take advantage of shooting in low light conditions and can control depth of field. Paired with the nine-blade circular aperture, this lens can produce beautifully smooth background bokeh.
Reliable in Challenging Conditions
The Sony 28mm Macro Lens features a design that prevents dust and moisture from entering the lens, allowing reliable and consistent operation in a variety of shooting conditions.
