SONY HVLF20M Flash Unit 

Add softer lighting to your images with the Sony HVLF20M Flash Unit. The slim, compact design makes it the perfect addition to your camera bag, so you can add a little light to your images anywhere and everywhere. Featuring a guide number of 20 at ISO 100 and 50mm, with 27mm (50mm full frame) coverage. The Sony HVLF20M can be tilted up to 75 degrees upwards to create a bounce flash and doubles as a wireless TTL controller for compatible off-camera flash units.  

Runs on two AAA batteries (not included).

Compact, easy-to-use flash for advanced lighting 

The Sony HVLF20M Flash Unit has a guide number of 20 (50mm at ISO 100 in meters) which gives it the power it needs to shine light on subjects within 5 meters.  

Bounce Flash 

The HVLF20M can be adjusted away from the subject to create a bounce flash; a bounce flash means that light ‘bounces’ off of a surface to create a softer light and a natural setting without reflections or shadows. Adjust the flash position easily by using the slide switch  

Direct Flash  

Adjust the flash face forward to achieve a greater reach of light in dim light settings.  

Automatic Power On/Off  

When the Sony HVLF20M is raised into the shooting position it automatically powers on, and powers off when lowered. This prevents unnecessary use of power whilst ensuring quick use when needed.  

Advanced Distance Integration (ADI) 

ADI works intelligently with cameras and lenses to achieve automatic metering between the camera and subject. This is to balance flash output and ensure optimum use of the flash level.  

Compact and Slim  

The Sony HVLF20M is a highly portable flash unit that doesn’t take up room in your camera bag. Adopting a slim profile, this flash unit is only 24mm thick, so it is easy to handle and simple to use.  

Wireless Control  

Wirelessly control other compatible flash units when the Sony HVLF20M Flash Unit is attached to a compatible camera.  

Auto White Balance Adjustment  

To achieve natural looking flash photography, the Sony HVLF20M transfers colour temperature information straight to the camera for correct white balance information.  

Multi Interface Shoe 

Designed for use with Multi Interface Shoe flash.
