Advanced Technology
Featuring three types of exclusive low-dispersion glass elements to minimise optical defects including; ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion), SLD (Special Low Dispersion) and FLD (“F” Low Dispersion). The glass elements work together to deliver edge-to-edge sharpness and contrast without optical aberration such as sagittal coma flare.
Rapid Focusing
Enjoy rapid focusing thanks to SIGMA’s development of the Hyper Sonic Motor (HSM) that ensures fast and near-silent focusing. Fine tune the details by turning the focusing ring after autofocus is complete to enable manual override.
Nikon Electromagnetic Diaphragm Mechanism
The Electronic Diaphragm Mechanism allows the lens to receive signals from the camera body to ensure precision diaphragm control and stable Auto Exposure (AE) performance during continuous shooting.
Durability
The SIGMA 85mm lens has been constructed to be robust. It includes a brass bayonet mount making it durable in varying weather conditions. As well as rubber sealing on the mount so it is protected from any dust or water drops.
