This versitile frame will hang either vertically or horizontally, as it has two hooks on the bak, one on the short side and one on the longer side. When it is vertical, the 8x6 photos are shown in landscape mode and horizontally, the phtoos are shown in portrait mode. The roughe edge of the frame gives it a very natural feel as does the white washed painted finish. The paint gives a distressed feel to the frame and the bare wood can be seen in streaks under the paint. The apertures look a lot like windows and the photographs are slipped into them from the back of the frame, by removing the backboard and then fastening it back into place. The photographs sit towards the back of the frame which helps display them to their best advantage and each frame is slightly different, having the 'rubbed-down' effect of painters work, so quite a unique item.
It measures approximately 20inches wide and 10.5 inches tall, unless you are hanging it vertically, in which case the measurements need to be reversed.
