Olympus 8-25mm F4 ED M.Zuiko PRO Lens
The Olympus 8-25mm F4 ED M.Zuiko PRO Lens (16-50mm full-frame format equivalent) is an ultra-wide Micro Four Third Zoom lens that offers an expertly constructed optical design, a fast autofocus and macro capabilities. With its seven-bladed aperture and maximum f4 aperture, this lens brings you beautifully smooth bokeh and high-quality performance throughout the zoom range.
Weather Resistance
The lens design is splashproof, dustproof and freezeproof down to -10°C for reliable use whether you’re shooting in rain or snow.
ZERO Coating
Featuring a ZERO (Zuiko Extra-low Reflection Optical) coating which has been applied to the lenses to reduce ghosting and flare when working with bright light sources.
Impressive Optical Design
The design of this lens consists of 16 elements and 10 group lens configuration that includes one Super ED (Extra-low Dispersion) element, one ED element, two EDA (Extra-low Dispersion Aspherical) lens elements, one DSA (Dual Super Aspherical) element and one HD element. Collectively, the organisation of the lens elements work to minimise aberrations and distortions to ensure image quality remains sharp and clear throughout the zoom range.
Compact and Lightweight
Weighing a mere 411g, this is the first lightweight lens in the M.Zuiko ORI series to feature a retracting mechanism to ensure a compact size, making it easier for you to carry on to go. Perfect for job assignments where you can’t carry a lot of equipment but don’t want to sacrifice quality.
Fast AF and Programmable L-Fn Button
Olympus have incorporated a MSC (Movie & Still Compatible) mechanism in order to drive fast, precise and near-silent autofocus. Enjoy great audio quality on your movies as focusing noise isn’t picked up. The manual focus clutch allows you to quickly pull the focusing ring for rapid change in shooting styles. Along with the L-Fn (lens function) button that gives you the option to quickly adjust the settings.

Thanks to its dynamic zoom range you can enjoy macro shooting with a maximum shooting magnification of 0.42x. Minimum focus distance is 0.23 meters across the entire zoom range so you can adjust the field of view with the zoom ring. Easily capture intricate details in an ultra-wide image. Take advantage of the Focus Stacking feature which layers multiple images to give edge-to-edge sharpness – useful for macro images.
