With a minimum focal distance of 1.3m across the entire zoom range, you can achieve close-up shooting with a maximum image magnification of 0.57x (increasing to 0.71x with a built-in teleconverter) so you can capture more discreet images without startling the subject.

Impressive Optical Design The Olympus 150-400mm lens features 28 elements in 18 groups, including a newly developed large-diameter EDA (Extra-low Dispersion Aspherical) lens element and four Super ED lenses. Collectively, the placement of these lenses ensures flare and colour bleeding is reduced across the entire zoom range and superb resolution to the edges of the images. As well as the unique Z Coating Nano technology that works to provide crystal clear, sharp images even in backlit scenes. The front element of the lens features a fluorine coating which provides a smooth and scratch resistant surface and makes it easier to clean for better maintenance.

Improved Video Image Stabilization Performance Enjoy more natural recording thanks to the revised image stabilization algorithm. The gyro sensor can detect camera shake 5 times more accurately than conventional once which makes handheld shooting much more manageable. The incredible IS capabilities gives you beautifully smooth video footage with minimal shaking even when panning.

RAW video data output to the Atomos Ninja V HDR monitor recorder 4K 30P/25P/24P and Cinema 4K 24P video recorded on the OM-D E-M1X or the E-M1 Mark III can be output as 12-bit RAW data and recorded in ProRes RAW format on the Atomos Ninja V HDR monitor recorder. This enables advanced professional video production post-processing tasks such as adjusting exposure and colour grading recorded footage.
