Description
Leica Summilux-M 35mm f1.4 ASPH Silver Lens provides high quality optics for excellent performance in a varity of situations. The aperture range starts at a fast f1.4 for available light and stops at f16 for use with landscapes or images which require great depth-of-field. The optical design also allows this lens to stay compact with 9 elements in 5 groups. This lens features Leica's 6-bit coding for sending metadata to digital M cameras which allows proper frame lines to be shown as well as proper digital correction of lens aberrations. This 35mm Summilux-M lens can focus as close as 2.3' and the aperture also uses nine blades for smooth out-of-focus areas in imagery. 46mm Screw-on filters can be used and a lens hood is included to limit flare.
