Description
The Leica 50mm f2 Apo-Summicron-M Asph Silver Lens, creates stunning results every time no matter what the lighting conditions are and is a lens that fully exploits the capabilities of the modern, high resolution camera systems. The limited fall-off at the edges even at full aperture in the Modulation Transfer function ensures excellent image sharpness and high contrast. The apochramatic correction of the lens, minimises chromatic aberration on sharp edges and ensures natural rendition of all details.
Manual focus design provides a minimum focusing distance of 2.3' with a maximum magnification ratio of 1:11.3. Fast f2 maximum aperture benefits working in difficult lighting conditions and also affords greater control over depth of field.
