The Leica Noctivid offers outstanding grip being covered with a durable rubber armour and sits comfortably in the palm of the hand. Thanks to the newly-designed focusing wheel, pin-sharp focusing is provided on even the tiniest of details, bringing distant objects into view. Engineered with 12 glass lens elements, the Noctivid's ensure first class optical excellence. Manufactured with high-performance SCHOTT HT High Transmission glass, these binoculars deliver incredibly natural colour rendition. The premium quality lens coating guarantees perfectly balanced light transmission throughout the entire range of visible light. Leica's innovative AquaDura coating ensures a stunning, crystal-clear view at all times, with water and dirt simply rolling off the lens surface and fingerprints being easily removed with a soft cloth. These Noctivid's are waterproof down to a depth of five metres and can be run under a tap to remove any stubborn dirt.

Leica have modified the radii at the lens surfaces which increases the sharpness right to the edge of the optics, so no information is lost towards the edge of the field of view. The positioning of the baffles in the Noctovid 8x42 binoculars allows for unequalled image plasticity and the 19mm eye relief makes the binoculars amazingly comfortable to use, whatever your face shape. The close focus of the Noctovid 8x binoculars is an incredible 1.9 metres, which for a binocular of this style is impressive. The anti-reflective coatings that are applied to all the lenses and prisms on the Noctovid binoculars and the high temperature plasma process that the glass undergoes, ensures that the whole visible spectrum of light is transmitted through the lenses to the eye, almost without loss.
