The Gitzo GK2545T Series 2 Traveler 4 Section Tripod with Centre Ball Head is perfect for the photographer who travels and is fed up of carrying round heavy cumbersome tripods. It is extremely compact and lightweight but with a 10Kg payload capability. Making the most of folding space, the legs fold 180 degrees and fit around the head, making it a compact travel unit at a closed length of only 44.5cm's. This doesn't mean that there is a restriction on height, as the tripod will extend to a comfortable 165.5cm with the centre column extended. The tripod can have different feet on it, which makes it very versitile in extreme conditions and will take most other Gitzo heads if the ball and socket head is not needed. The Gitzo GK2545T tripod kit is made Carbon Fibre eXact material, which makes it stronger and lighter than an aluminum tripod and helps with the knocks and bumps that can happen when travelling.

The GH1382TQD Head is made from aluminium and is really slim, to fit in with the ethos of the traveller series. The quick release head means that multiple short, arca plates can be bought to use on different equipment, making it fast to use and the independant pan lock is also an excellent additional feature. The head has a panoramic rotation of 360degrees, a working height of 10.4cm and incredibly accurate manouverability. It only weighs 0.390kg's, so is ideal for taking out on all day photo shoots.
