Description

The Fuji 16mm f1.4 R WR XF Lens is a lightweight, compact and weather-resistant lens suitable for travel and other subjects including landscape, portrait, street and macro photography. It's fast f1.4 maximum aperture enables the use of faster shutter speeds which is particularly useful when shooting handheld in low light conditions. The optical design of this lens includes two aspherical elements and two ED (extra low-dispersion) elements which reduce spherical and chromatic aberrsations to deliver sharp and rich image quality even at the widest aperture of f1.4. The image quality is further enhanced by Fuji's HT-EBC coating applied applied to the all lens surfaces and Nano GI Coating. The 16mm f1.4 R WR Lens allows you to get closer to subject which means the bokeh is enhanced and also the perspective is more dynamic. High image quality is achieved throughout the entire focus range by correcting various aberrations, even at the minimum working distance of 15cm.

A Rear Focusing System is used for high-speed autofocus. Autofocus as fast as 0.11sec is achieved by a built-in high-torque DC coreless motor driving the focus unit. This makes the lens ideal for street shooting and portraiture. The focus ring on this lens comes with a depth-of-field scale, which is perfect for street photographers. The weather resistant structure features 9 seals in 8 areas on the lens barrel. These keep the lens protected from sudden rain, dust and splashes of water.
