Description
The Canon 300mm f4 L IS USM lens is a portable lightweight telephoto lens for photographers on the move. The UD elements improves the lenses optical performance and the super image stabilisation system reduces blur caused by camera shake. The L-series is Canon's flagship professional lens range, which represents the best in precision-designed EF optics. They are designed to combine superior performance with outstanding handling, and have seals which make them resistant to dust and moisture.
The Canon EF 300mm f4 L IS USM lens has a two stop compensation Image stabalisation technology system,
which means that faster shutter speeds can be used, which is great for low-light photography. The automatic
panning detection can be turned off in one direction when following moving subjects. Canon's Super Spectra coatings ensure accurate colour balance and enhanced contrast whilst also reducing flare and ghosting, a common problem caused in digital photography, by light bouncing off a camera's sensor.
The Canon EF 300mm f4 L IS USM lens, passes distance information back to a compatible EOS camera's E-TTL II flash system to ensure optimal flash metering, which is ideal for photogrpahers who need to get the picture fast without worrying about exposure.
