Description
The ultrawide Nikon 12-24mm f4 G AF-S DX IF-ED Zoom Nikkor Lens with a 35mm equivalent to 18-36mm. ED (Extra low Dispersion) glass elements minimize chromatic aberration to provide higher resolution and superior contrast SWM for fast, quiet AF. Three aspherical lens elements minimize distortion, especially at the periphery. DX lens designed for cameras with an APS-C (DX) format sensor. The Nikon 12-24mm f4 G AF-S DX IF-ED Zoom Nikkor Lens is also the world's first lens with a smaller image circle, optimized for the sensor format of Nikon Digital SLRs such as the D100, the D1X, the D1H and the D1.
The lightweight design of the Nikon 12-24mm f4 G AF-S DX IF-ED Zoom Nikkor Lens fits comfortably on compact digital SLR bodies such as the D100, but it is not recommended for use on 135 format cameras.
