This Dorr HQ1635 Carbon Fibre Tripod is a high qaulity tripod which is very strong but light and compact for everyday use. It is a 4 section tripod which makes it compact and as it is manufactured from high quality carbon fibre, it is robust and lightweight. It comes complete with a ball head, which is great for accurate positioning of camera equipment and as the tripod provides both a 1/4" and 3/8" camera mount (reversible) it is really versitilie and can hold up to 15kg of equipment. It features rubber tips with screw-out spikes so the tripod can be stable on uneven ground and the hook at the bottom of the centre column is ideal for hanging heavy bags on, fo additional stability. One leg of this tripod can also be twisted off and used as a monopod in combination with the centre column. This tripod has a maximum height of 163cm with centre column extended and a folded height of 46cm, making it extremely compact to carry. The ball features panorama scale, friction control and a quick release system, so is really versitile and is compatible with Arca Swiss plates. Supplied with a carry case which keeps the tripod clean and protected and makes it really easy to carry.
