This Danubia 650-1300mm F8-16 T2 Lens is a monster of a lens, focal length wise, but only 58cm long, so easy to handle and comfortable to use. It is a manual telephoto zoom lens, due to its minimum F stop of 8 and is absolutely ideal for animal and nature photography as well as taking detailed shots from a large distance.
The mount of the lens is T2, which makes it vertually universal, simply buy the correct mount for your camera body and then screw it onto the lens. Once in place it stays put and the lens can be used as a normal manual focus lens. Put the camera on manual mode and off you go, total control and a huge focal length range to play with.
The lens has a tripod collar which is an absolute must for any lens of this focal length, as it wouldn't be safe to try and take shots through the lens without some sort of external support. The tripod collar is moveable, so the lens can easily be used in landscape or portrait mode and the multi-coated optics are great for light gathering and protecting the glass from dust and dirt. It has a lens hood which screws into the end of the lens to keep flare to an absolute minimum and the 67mm filter thread means that additional filters can be screwed onto the front.
