Description
The Velbon Ultra Luxi L offers slightly higher specifications than the Maxi L. It is an Aluminium 5 section tripod, which is supplied with the larger 2-handle PHD-41Q aluminium pan & tilt head, which enables heavier equipment to be used.
The Velbon Ultra range features the Trunnion Shaft System (TTS) which means that each leg extends the entire length of the outer casing. Making the tripod very compact when folded and the Velbon “Twist Lock” leg system means a simple twist, pull and twist with the tripod then being ready to use. This offers the best ratio of extended length between the lowest and maxiumum height. The high quality 5 section aluminium legs are hard wearing and extremely stable in all shooting environments. The PHD-41Q pan and tilt head, which is included, is light-weight, slick and ready to use straight from the box and the detachable 2 section centre column is ideal for low angle photography, particularly macro photography.
