Digital SLR Sensor Cleaning Service
We now offer an in-store D-SLR sensor cleaning service with quick turnaround times.
We are able to clean dust, hair and grease marks from your D-SLR sensor to prevent your images being spoiled by the dreaded "black spots".
Prices are as follows:
Same/next day service: £50 inc
VAT
3 day service: £35 inc VAT
We ask that all cameras are brought in with a fully charged battery or mains adapter, a lens and a memory card.
N.B. Some older D-SLRs cannot be cleaned without the use of an AC adapter.
Cameras requiring same day turnaround must be brought in before 12 noon. Staff holidays and high workloads can mean that on rare occasions the same day service may not be available, so please check with us before bringing your camera to the shop.
On very rare occasions it is not possible to clean the sensor, due to either very stubborn marks or scratches in the surface of the sensor. In these situations we will call you to advise that we send the camera back to the manufacturer for cleaning/repair and give you an estimate of cost and rough turnaround time.
Please note that we do not clean the focussing screen or pentaprism, dust that is visible in the viewfinder (which does not affect the image) can only be removed by sending the camera back to the manufacturer for servicing.

If you are unable to come into the store, you may order your sensor clean online. Simply order the sensor clean, by click link below, and send your camera to us. Please make to print your order confirmation out and send it with your camera. If you do not have a printer; send a covering letter including your order number instead. Please note postage is charged with your order; this is the cost of the postage back to you. You will be charged after your sensor as been cleaned.
