Sigma 28mm f1.8 EX DG Aspherical Macro Lens - Canon Fit

This 28mm Lens is for both Digital and 35mm film SLR cameras. It has a macro focusing capability with fast F1.8 maximum aperature, which is ideal for Digital SLR cameras.

Macro photography is available with this lens, with a minimum shooting distance of 20cm and angle view is 75.4. You are able to take images of not only the subject, but also the surrounding scenery.

The lens has an advances optical construction, therefore it obtains good peripheral brightness with open aperture. The iris diaphragm had 9 diaphragm blades to keep beautiful out of focus images in the foreground and background also.

Handling this lens is easy as the focusing ring does not rotate during auto-focus, although it gives good focusing torque of the focusing ring when physical focusing of the lens is being used. The rear focus system cancels out the need for the front of the lens to rotate, therefore allowing the use of a Petlal-type hood, which is excellent light blocking effect.

It also incorporates a floating focus system and uses two aspherical lens elements for minimizing distortion, aberration and astigmatism.
