Sigma 200-500mm f2.8 EX DG Lens - Canon Fit

This lens can be used to create wonderful imagery expression with different types of photography such as; astrophotography, portraits, wildlife and sports. Special Low Dispersion glass and three ELD glass elements give superior correction for all types of aberrations. The super multi-layer coating on this lens reduces and flare and ghosting and also provides high image quality from the very large aperture.

The addition of an HSM makes quick, silent AF function a reality. This lens is also capable of full-time manual focus.

Focusing and zooming do not change the lens' overall length, therefore easy use is a given when either handhels or on a tripod.

The lens hood, which is designed exclusively for this lens, blocks out any extraneous light. A 72mm filter can be inserted at the rear of the lens, and a circular polarizing filter can be used in situ, thanks to the ingenious internal rotation mechanism.

The Li-ion battery BP-21 is used to power the zooming and AF operation. This battery is found within the lens' body.

The addition of a specifically designed dedicated “Attachment” produces a 400-1000mm F5.6 ultra telephoto zoom lens that still retains auto focus. For the convenience of the photographer, focusing distances and focal lengths can be viewed on the lens` built-in LCD panel.
