The Nikon 85mm f3.5G AF-S DX Micro ED VR Lens is an ultralight weight and compact (DX format) Macro lens with high-quality optics. The 85mm lens  boosts Nikon’s second generation Vibration Reduction (VR) system, delivering steady images to both the sensor and viewfinder. Using lenses with VR will allow extra flexibility when in use with hand-held shooting. A reproduction ratio of 1:1 will enable life-size close ups of very fine textures and high details. Nikon's smooth AF using the Silent Wave Motor combines with the internal focus system to make it ideal for getting really close to subjects.
