The Flash TTL Hot Shoe Adaptor 3 is placed on the EOS camera's accessory shoe, to control up to 4 off-camera speedlites. This gives TTL or manual flash control, but isn't compatible with E-TTL and won't support automatic flash on digital SLRs. To permit auto TTL off-camera photography it needs a EOS connecting cord 300 or 60 and off-camera shoe adaptor 2, or TTL distributor and connecting cords for multi-flash photography.
