The Dorr GPD logger tracks your speed, altitude, distance and will even show how long you have stopped for during your journey. Accuracy is to within 5 metres and you get up to 18 hours continuous use after a 2 hour charge via your USB port on your PC.
Here are some situations is which you could use the GPS Route Logger:
1. Turn on the GPS logger on at the begining of your cycle ride, walk, car journey (or just about anything that involves moving). When you have completed your walk, run etc turn the unit off. You can now view your route on your computer via Google Earth.2. Does your company have a fleet of vehicles? Do you think some drivers may be driving to fast? not going where they should be? Pop one of these in the vehicle, at the end of the end you can view where the vehicle has been, how fast its been going.
3. Photo logger: This is great from when you are on holiday. The GPS logger will add the GPS location to your images. When you get back home you can show your friends your images along with where they were taken.
